Welcome to "In Piper's Dream Border Collies" (est 2018), located on the shores of the Minas Basin, on 6 acres in beautiful North Grand Pré, Nova Scotia.
We breed purebred Border Collies, registered with the Canadian Border Collie Association. They are raised under vet supervision with all recommended vaccinations.
Our beloved breeding dogs live happy and full lives. The genetic testing we conduct ensures that each puppy is free from hereditary diseases commonly found in the Border Collie breed, setting them up to live a long, healthy life.
We start our dogs on the best path, with controlled exposure to the world, including puppy classes for early socialization. Respecting their individual strengths, they do classes in agility, scent classes, and even barn ratting.
We value our pups’ happiness and temperament, and breed to bring out the best qualities of the sire and dam. We do not breed to achieve a certain coat colour or coat length.
Although Border Collies are known for their intelligence and agility, it is our mission to produce CONFIDENT and RESILIENT family companions who are ready to become your next best friend, sports dog or therapy dog.
