At times retired Border Collie dogs become available. Please contact for further information.

- Double R Story - Born April 2020 - Retired November 2023 -

Story
Story

Story aka my “Storybook” was not destined to be a breeding female. But that’s okay because she has found her purpose in life. Story and her Mums have passed the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program so now Story is spreading joy & love at the Windsor Elms and Dykeland Lodge. Story can also visit Acadia & NSCC to help students manage stress, anxiety & improve mental well-being, especially during exam times. We miss our little red fox but know she is well loved and taken care of in her new home, and the bonus is I still get to see her.

- Double R Fiona - Born February 2019 - Retired March 2024 -

Fiona

Fiona Gallagher aka Sweet Fee is one of the most sensitive Border Collies in the crew. Fiona blessed us with 3 large litters of puppies – 33 in total. Fiona was an amazing mum, caring for her big broods of pups. Fee loves to be petted and have her belly rubbed. Fiona has the most laid back personality I have ever seen in a Border Collie…she’s just happy to be with anyone who is around. Fiona tried out city living last year and that was not for her ! Too many cars, people and strange dogs for this country girl. If Fiona were to be rehomed she would be looking for one in a rural setting. She is not really interested in dog sports but loves her walks and looking for squirrels in the woods.

- VV Poppy - Born May 2017 - Retired June 2024 -

Poppy - Border Collie

Poppy Joy aka Wiggles. Aside from blessing us with 4 litters with of Border Collie puppies, Poppy is the glue to our crew. Poppy is the queen of the pack and is loved by all. Poppy greets everyone she meets with a tail that wags so hard her whole body wiggles. Poppy will be living her days out at home in North Grand Pre.

Poppy loves to swim and I see some dock diving in her future this summer. Poppy loves to use her dainty paws to point things out..I’d swear they were hands!

- CMB Tess - Born June 2021 - Retired 2026 -

Our Sweet Tess, the first dog with the “Nike Swoosh” blaze on her nose, has been removed from the IPD breeding program. Tess would have made a wonderful mum, right from 4 months of age she was jumping into the whelping pool and trying to feed someone else’s litter ! But unfortunately Tess has some sensitivities and fears that I did not feel were what I was looking for in my breeding females. Auntie Tess was well loved by many an IPD puppy and will be missed dearly her best buddy Paige 9.

Being a breeder often comes with hard decisions and rehoming Tess was definitely one. I had high hopes and dreams for this cuddly girl. I also had to make the hard decision to have her spayed and rehomed after loving her daily for 4 years.

Tess now lives not too far away for visits and has a fabulous new Mum who will work with Tess’ fears in hopes to make her a calmer , happier dog in all situations. Living in a big crew of dogs simply wasn’t the best thing for Tess.

IPD Dad has promised to take her for some car rides this summer, and I’m sure we will get to have lots of visits with our Tess.

- VV Lexie - Born in May 2018 - Retired February 2025 -

Lexie Lou blessed us with 4 litters of puppies; two with RR Red and two with Pied Pied Reggie. Lexie’s personality has won over many a puppy purchaser over the years. Lexie is a phenomenal soccer player, enjoys pushing the herding ball in the pen ( she’d herd it right across the dykes if we let her!).  Lexie hasn’t met a ball that didn’t have her name on it! She loves swimming in the pond , her version of doggy paddle often looks like she’s drowning! She and Poppy have Olympic style races when I ball launch a hockey ball across the pond ! All in all Lexie Lou is just a silly, goofy, loveable gal who loves to have fun! Lexie will be living out her retirement in North Grand Pre!

- GA BlueBelle - Born September 2021 - Retired October 2025

GA BlueBelle made her way to Nova Scotia in the Spring of 2025 from Manitoba. I had high hopes for this split faced, Merle beauty with such an amazing personality! BB loved to play with anything! Frisbee, soccerball… you name it she was catching it (in fact she was a bit of a ball hog). BlueBelle had dallied in agility and dock diving with her previous owner and she and I did a Hoopers workshop. Unfortunately puppies were not in BlueBelle’s future, after 3 failed matings (the third using AI), I concurred she was not going to be a Mumma. Bluebelle headed to live in Yarmouth with an active family. I look forward to hearing about all of their outdoor adventures. She also is winning over many hearts on the days she goes to the office with her Dad or Mum!
